How we helped Coop combine sports and the passion for movement with support for schools and sports clubs

The message of the Coop for School + Kappa campaign links education with sports, as both teach universal values such as inclusion, altruism and respect for diversity.

Coop's goal was to create a campaign for those who wish to celebrate their passion for sports without compromising on style and quality. Additionally, the fifth national edition of the community initiative supporting schools and, in 2023, also sport clubs.

Coop's Support for Schools

Coop has been supporting schools for over 40 years, enhancing education through programs centered on Conscious Consumption and Active Citizenship. This project provides schools with much-needed classroom products and more. The catalog we developed is in fact rich in educational and IT items, as well as numerous sports equipment.

The Power of Hybrid Campaigns

By participating to this campaign, Coop consumers had the opportunity to collect bonus points to redeem Kappa line rewards while also doing good by supporting schools and sports clubs. Thanks to the enthusiastic participation of families and the entire community, schools and sports clubs registered in the "Coop for School" initiative could use their collected vouchers to request their preferred rewards from a catalog designed to meet their needs.

A Catalog Built for the Community

Our catalogue features over 95 items across 7 different categories to address three main goals:

  • Continuously meet the needs of schools by providing teaching tools that align with the Ministry of Education's guidelines.

  • Promote sports activities in schools by supplying basic equipment for various sports.

  • Address the specific needs of sports clubs.

A Facebook page entirely dedicated to teachers and project coordinators with content tailored to schools and communities.

The school kit

A printed kit to encourage schools to participate, including a box for voucher collection, a letter and posters to display to engage the community and promote the initiative.
